Rekha inspires Kangana's look in 'Shootout At Wadala'

Actress Kangana Ranuat, who will be playing a gangster's girlfriend in 'Shootout at Wadala', says she drew inspiration from Bollywood diva Rekha and the late Smita Patil for the 70s look in the film.

Kangana plays Vidya Joshi, girlfriend of gangster Manya Surve, played by John Abraham. "I play a Maharashtrian girl. As the film is set in 70s and early 80s, my look is also pretty much similar to that period. We have kept the look as valid as we could," Kangana told reporters here at the presentation of the first look of 'Shootout At Wadala'.

"For my look I took idea from Smita Patil and Rekhaji. Fashion is a factor in the film but it is not over the top," she said. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Mahesh Manjrekar and Ronit Roy.

Indecent proposals are norms in B'wood: Riya

Actress Riya Sen has admitted that she had some bad experiences in Bollywood , and came across to indecent proposals. Talking to media persons at the launch of author Neeta Shah in her new book "Bollywood Striptease".

The writer has claimed in her book that it has become a trend in the Hindi film industry where Riya certified her thought as reality by saying that she too came across with such offers in past.

She said her trip has been very different because she was not so striving. But, what was being offered, not decent.

Kareena may perform an item song in Dabangg 2

The buzz is coming out from the glitter town that Kareena Kapoor is going to perform an item number in Dabangg 2.

The sources told that the producers have decided to make the sequel much bigger than the original,and Kareena Kapoor will do an item number by replacing Malaika Arora Khan.

Come July,Khiladi Will Be Holidaying

Akshay Kumar is preparing for his well-deserved holiday post July. Akshay will be resuming the shoot of JOKER soon. for now he also has something to look as he joins Twinkle and son Aarav for a major holiday in a couple of months from now.

It is said for him that whenever Akshay is in town, he makes it a point to be home by evening and also stay home on Sundays so that he can spend time with Twinkle and son Aarav. However this can't be helped when Akshay is shooting out of the country. This is the reason why he keeps an entire month aside during summers to take his family out to either purpose that they want.

For those who know him closely, for Akshay it would be a well deserved break since he has films like JOKER and DESI BOYZ to complete and then kickstart HOUSEFULL 2, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI 2 and ROWDY RATHORE. Wife Twinkle has planned the holiday programme.

Akshay is sure that exploit would be a part of the holiday, "We are not the type to sit and sun bath. We like to adventure while Aarav is still young. Since we tend to have full on getaways', I think I will need a holiday after my holiday to get over it."

Hrithik Best-Looking Super-Hero Around: SRK

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, whose next film 'Ra.one' is in post-production stage, feels 'Kriish' star Hrithik Roshan is the best looking super-hero around.

"According to me, Hrithik is the best looking superhero better than even Batman, Superman and Spiderman," he said while shooting for a television show.

Khan, 45, who turns superhero himself in 'Ra.One', said his children look up to Hrithik as a role model.

"Even my kids think that Hrithik is the best looking hero right now. In fact kids don't love me as much as they love seeing Hrithik on screen," he said.

No to Sequel of 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari

While Chote Nawab was keen to make a sequel to his movie Main Khiladi Tu Anari, but at the same time he is sure it will never see light of the day.

It is a different matter that recently media reported that Saif might soon make a sequel to MKTA,but Saif has without the news.

Saif said that "Actually, I was talking to somebody from the press, and we were talking about sequels becoming popular these days, and I remember when we did Main Khiladi Tu Anari, I don't know how many years ago.

We should make a sequel'. Everybody said 'No, how can you make the sequels, it's not a very good idea.”

Imran Sports A Black Eye

The poster of Aamir Khan's 'Delhi Belly' that stars nephew Imran Khan is out. It shows Imran with a black eye with what appears to be residue on his face.

Imran is all set to shed his chocolate boy image, shooting one of the boldest scenes ever in the upcoming crime and sex comedy.

The poster also shows the trio - Vir Das, Imran and Kunal Roy Kapoor with white powder dirty all over their faces and a tagline reading 'S#!t Happens'. Imran is also sporting a goatee in the film.
